I'm Dedee Boring
Wise Founder
My journey kicked off after dedicating years to Children's Ministry and co-owning an Advertising business for 18 years alongside my husband, Shane. Like many, the pandemic prompted reflection on our next steps, we decided to venture into real estate. Thus, Boring & Co., my family's commercial real estate investment company, was born.
With many of our mentors saying “your network is your net worth,”Dedee embarked on her networking journey in Austin, TX. Yet, amid her encounters, Dedee saw a noticeable absence—women were scarcely present in the commercial real estate space. Fueled by the conviction that change was overdue, Dedee had an idea to start a networking group focused on empowering and educating women interested in investing in multifamily and started Women In Multifamily Austin, or WIMFA.
